I was recently introduced to a great networking and educational group called the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS for short). You may think, why should I care, I’m in construction and that’s an association for you. I agree with you, I would not introduce you to the American Marketing Association (AMA) or American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA), but SMPS is different. SMPS is only for “marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the United States and Canada”.

The Brand Constructions is now officially a member of SMPS and we look forward to meeting other marketers in the design & build industry as well as learning from and educating the other members of the group. Check our chapter’s website at http://www.smpssela.org/.
